Werner Faymann: No fencing country

The Chancellor was referring to earlier statements of Interior Minister Johanna Miklos-Laitner (coalition of the conservative People's Party), that Austria would raise the fence along the border with Slovenia to control the influx of refugees and migrants in its territory.
In his view, the proposed measures to the Austrian border should proceed in close consultation with Germany and other neighboring countries, and the question may shortsighted policy, but should with proactive coordination with others to achieve the securing of border controls and to avoid an overcrowded people.
