CDU with Merkel: Redirect those immigrants come from safe countries
More support for Greece and Turkey to cope with the weight received from the refugee crisis and pressure for better border surveillance, ask Angela Merkel 34 local MPs, mayors and heads of party organizations of the Christian Democratic Party ( CDU).

"Germany and Europe are strong and can accept many refugees. But the present state of de facto open borders, not only questioning the domination of Germany and the EU, but also creates the risk, the ability and readiness for refugees to overcome its limitations. Continued uncontrolled flow jeopardizes the inner freedom and strengthens extremists of all hues "they write in their letter the party cadres of Angela Merkel.

In the same letter, the signatories call on the German Chancellor to take immediate and concrete steps to restore the prestige of the European and German law, explaining that those who come from safe third countries should be disposed of in the German border. Furthermore suggest more aid to refugees in their own countries or in non-European countries where they have found refuge, acceleration of refoulement and deportation procedures, and clear messages to the countries of origin and their people on limited refugee reception capacity by Germany.

Especially in regard to Greece and Turkey, the CDU's executives stress the need to recognize the weight received from the wave of refugees and to support their efforts, and to ask them to control their borders more effectively. "The border between Greece and Turkey are de facto open, we should offer to all States on the Balkan route every assistance to border surveillance and for the care of refugees, and also ask them to not just send refugees to Germany, "stated the letter.
