Iraq: Incredibly torture jihadist hostage
The authorities in Iraqi Kurdistan gave Monday released a video which shows the former hostages of the Islamic State released last week, a company of US and Kurdish forces, and declare that they were horribly tortured by the jihadists.
The operation carried out last Thursday by Kurdish and US special forces led to the release of about 70 prisoners held near the city Chaouitza, in northern Iraq. During that one American soldier was killed.
Excerpts of the video were given Sunday released. In the video shown Monday many former hostages to exchange handshake with Kurdish fighters in front of a large portrait of the President of Iraqi Kurdistan Massoud Barzani. Some refer to Calvary who lived in prisons jihadists.
"We put in plastic bags and head when we lost our senses by suffocation, electric shocks made us" said one man, Mohammed Hassan Abdullah, who claims that he was imprisoned because he was a policeman.
According to former hostages, the jihadists executed prisoners almost every day, in prison. "The Dae (en Arabic acronym IK) slaughtered my brother, who was an officer and I was given a decapitated body," said police officer Saad Faradje.
Ahmed Mahmoud, who said he was arrested five times men of IK, the jihadists submitted to torture their hostages "to admit which side are in". "When someone confessed executed him and if not confessed, continued to torment him," he said.
The captured IR 2014 much of Iraq and Syria and founded a "caliphate" in these areas, sowing terror among residents with the atrocities and the extreme version of Islam applied.
