Israeli soldiers killed two Palestinians in firefights
Israeli soldiers shot dead two Palestinians today during an exchange of gunfire in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian hospital sources said. At least three Palestinians were injured in the incident that took place in the camp Kalantou refugees near the town of Ramallah in the West Bank, and soldiers demolished the house of a gunman, who, according to Israel in June killed an Israeli.
In a statement the Israeli army says the soldiers were attacked during the enterprise demolition of Mohamed Abu Shahin house, who in June killed Danny Gkonen the West Bank. "The suspects opened fire on the forces and in response to immediate danger (the troops) fired towards them ..." said among others the army.
From early October there is an explosion of violence in the region by at least 14 Israelis have lost their lives to attack with knife or bullet or be seduced by cars. Israeli forces have killed at least 78 Palestinians, 45 of whom, according to Israel, made or intended to make attacks.
