Egypt: Murder Islamist election candidate
Gunmen killed Saturday a candidate in parliamentary elections, who belonged to an Islamist party considered pro-government, in the northern Sinai, an area where jihadists operate.
Mustafa Abdel Rahman, candidate of the ultra-conservative Salafist Al-Nur party, which is considered pro-government, was killed by two gunmen aboard a motorcycle, they made known the police officials.
Representative of the party confirmed his death to AFP.
