Religious and cultural pluralism and peaceful coexistence in the Middle East

At the forefront of international diplomacy for cultural and religious rights puts Athens the Foreign Law. Kotzias
The aim of an international role for the country "that strengthens and to make a more significant factor than it is today": In this direction progresses Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias, putting Athens at the forefront of international diplomacy protection of cultural and religious rights, especially human life. The message given to the International Conference on "Religious and cultural pluralism and peaceful coexistence in the Middle East" that will make the Greek capital for a weekend, reflection center and search solutions for the burning Middle East.

Strong opinion of Mr. Kotzia is that "as the country can develop its foreign policy a global dimension that goes beyond the everyday life of our international problems, the more they will hear us and understood our demands and thoughts around our immediate national issues. "

The International Conference is the latest "child", but certainly not the last initiative as well, as already mentioned, has been in his mind the next. An initiative which "will be a central core of what we say as an energetic, multidimensional foreign policy."

Everything is ready at the Foreign Ministry for the big meeting to be held next Monday and Tuesday. Political and religious leaders, as well as great scientists from major universities such as the Sorbonne and Oxford, -as foreign ministers of Cyprus, the Netherlands and Egypt, but also homologous cardinal Vatikanou-, Muslim leaders, important rabbis, almost all the patriarchs and all the leaders of Orthodoxy, will arrive in Athens Sunday to participate on the day in this great Greek diplomatic initiative.
