Iraq: 70 members of Sunni tribe put in the Islamic State
Members of the jihadist organization Islamic State (IK) in western Iraq executed 70 members of a Sunni tribe which supports the government, denounced today a provost of this breed and the United Nations.
The victims, members of the tribe Abu Nimr, executed in the Tharthar, north of Ramadi city, the provincial capital of al-Anbar, told AFP Naim Gaudí.
"The persons executed were fathers and police men brothers, the army (...) and tribal militants fighting against Dae," he said, using the acronym of IK in Arabic.
"Their Dae performed with guns," he explained.
Security forces in Iraq by supporting the air strikes of the international coalition led by the United States of America against IK, launched Sunday a large-scale operation west of Ramadi, further approaching the capital of al-Anbar who had occupied the May by the jihadists.
