New reduce the popularity of Merkel

The popularity of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her party fell to its lowest level since May because of the way it manages the refugee crisis, according to a survey published today, while it seems to increase the rates of the far-right party Alternative for Germany (AfD ).

The poll by the Forsa Institute shows the Christian Democratic Party (CDU) winning 39% in voting intentions, down one point compared to the previous week and 2.5 points compared to the figure of the last elections two years ago.

Unlike the AfD won two points last week, reaching 7% for the first time this year.

The head of the institute Forsa Manfred Gkilner noted that the CDU loses its supporters in eastern Germany, while its sister Bavarian party, the Christianokoinonistes (CSU), has been a great fall.

"The attacks of the Bavarian Prime Minister Horst Zeechofer against Chancellor lead voters on the right wing of the CSU and AfD», he explained.

The Social Democrats (SPD) involved in the ruling coalition won one unit and reached 25%, while the Greens and Die Linke fell one point falling to 9%. The Free Democrats (FDP) remained stable at 5%.

Moreover the popularity of Merkel's own notes down 2 points to 47%, the lowest percentage recorded this year.

The Gkilner but noted that while Merkel has lost 9 points in the last 10 weeks remains more popular than its predecessors.
