Tz. Liu: Europe to maintain its commitment to Greece's debt to become sustainable
The need to meet Europe its commitment to Greece's debt to become sustainable through substantial relief, emphasized the Minister of Finance of America Jack Lew during yesterday's telephone conversation with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
According to an announcement by the US Treasury Office, Al. Tsipras and Tz. Liu discussed the importance of constructive cooperation between Greece, the IMF and European institutions in order to complete the first evaluation of the Greek economic reform program and to promptly find a viable way forward.
Also, the US Treasury Secretary calls on all sides to show flexibility in order to successfully conclude negotiations.
