Colombia: Historical peace agreement with FARC rebels
The Colombian government and the guerrillas FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) Cuba concluded a historic agreement for the permanent end of conflict 52 years left behind hundreds of thousands of victims.
After nearly four years of peace negotiations in Havana, the sides agreed on a final, comprehensive and definitive agreement "to be put to a referendum on October 2 before entering into force.
