Prime Stertzon announced a new initiative for the independence of Scotland

The prime minister of Scotland and leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP) Nikola Stertzon announced today that undertakes a new initiative in the form of consultation, in favor of Scottish independence from the United Kingdom, whereas the interests of Scots threatened by Brexit.

While the United Kingdom voted 52% in favor of EU retirement in the referendum of June 23, Scotland voted 62% in favor of leaving the Union and since the Stertzon has not stopped repeating that the choice to place a new referendum for independence, after that of September 2014, is "on the table".

"The interests of Scotland threatened," he said in a speech in Stirling, a place of symbolic importance, as William Wallace, hero and symbol of Scottish independence, won there in 1297 a historic battle against the English.

The Brexit, he explained, will lead not only to the Scottish exit "against her will" by the EU, but also to the exit from the "single market". "I'm not ready to stay with folded hands looking at what happens without giving battle," added Stertzon, who is also leader of the SNP, which advocates the independence of Scotland.
