US President Donald Trub said today that he is praying for the victims of terrorist acts in Tehran, but added that the country bears responsibility for them because it supports "terrorism."
"We mourn and pray for the innocent victims of the terrorist attacks in Iran and for the Iranian people, who are going through such difficult times," Trab said in a statement. "We stress that the states that support terrorism risk becoming victims of the evil they are promoting," the republican added.
Earlier today, a double terrorist attack in Tehran killed 13 people and injured more than 40 others, according to authorities. In the security services, a third attack was also prevented.
The jihadist organization Islamic State (IK) was responsible for the attacks.
