Turkey: At least 5,300 PKK fighters have lost their lives in July
Turkish security forces have killed 5359 Kurdish fighters after the termination of the truce of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) last July, which lasted two years, reported today the state Anatolian news agency quoted the Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan.
Erdogan said that 355 soldiers, police and village guards have been killed during this period in violent incidents, most in mainly Kurdish southeast. The East cites the text of a speech of Erdogan in the Turkish War Academy.
