Ph. Gulen: Erdogan behind the coup
The preacher Fethullah Gülen, which accuses the President Erdogan of being behind the attempted coup in Turkey, said he would obey any decision adoption by the US authorities.
The Gulen however reiterated that Erdogan himself organized the coup.

Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan reiterated today before supporters that he would reconsider the question of restoring the death penalty in Turkey, which was officially abolished in 2004 as part of the application for membership of Ankara in the EU.
"As a government and as a state, we know and hear this request is yours. We can not ignore this request, "replied the chief of the Turkish state to supporters chanted slogans in support of the execution of the coup.
"I believe that our government will discuss with the opposition and a decision will undoubtedly taken" he said in a speech in Istanbul.
Erdogan responded to citizens who chanted "we want the death penalty" after the funeral of victims of the coup attempt.
"In the Republic, the decision, is what the people want," added the Turkish president.
"We can not delay this decision because in this country those who commit a coup against the State will be required to pay the price."
