The German Chancellor Angela Merkel has assured today that it will seek compromises with the new American president Donald Trump on issues such as trade and defense spending, noting that he will work to preserve the important relationship between Europe and the US. "He made it clear belief in the inauguration speech," said Merkel one days after the Trump promised that the policy will follow will put "America first".
