More than 27,000 people fled their homes in China due to heavy rainfall

More than 27,000 residents were forced to leave their homes due to heavy vrochotposeon in Hunan Province in central China. More than 1,820 homes were destroyed by the intensity of weather phenomena in the northwestern and southeastern part of the said area, according to the authorities.

In some areas schools remain closed while four large dams were opened, to release large amounts of water.
