The Acting debts Chancellor of Austria, Raincholnt Miterlener, did not rule out early elections following the resignation of Chancellor Werner Faymann, but said he expects there will be an agreement in talks with the Social Democrats, partners in the ruling coalition.

The Miterlener, leader of the conservative Popular Party, outlined the principles which wants to be part of any agreement for cooperation with the person you appoint as Chancellor, the Social Democrats, including the continuation of the current policy regarding immigration.

"I suppose that we have already found a common line, and it will stick to it," the Miterlener said at a press conference after the weekly cabinet meeting.
