The US president Donald Trump continues today negotiations in order to ensure the necessary support to abolish the law on universal insurance, the known Obamacare, and replace it with its own proposal. However faced with the possibility of an embarrassing defeat in the vote which will take place later today in the House of Representatives.
The reform of former President Barack Obama on health and insurance coverage, presented exactly seven years ago, has entered originally targeted the Republican party. In all elections since the party promised to repeal the law just assumed the US presidency a Republican president. However, this commitment seems to be more difficult to meet as far as the president foresaw Trump and officers of his staff.
Not surprisingly, the reactions from the Republicans, who, however, in the minority in parliament. The problem for President Obama is that disagree and several Republicans, both moderates and ultra-conservative, in which in recent days the government and the party are night and day to negotiate.
The vote planned for today in the House of Representatives but even the exact time is not set to be launched. Indication of the difficulties facing the Trump is the fact that the final version of the bill had not been released until late in the morning (local time).
For moderates, the repeal of Obamacare would be unacceptable if it led to increased health care costs and loss of insurance coverage for millions of people; and these will be the consequences of the application of the Bill of Trump, according to experts in this field.
For the ultra-conservative group called the Freedom Caucus, the bill is inadequate because it does not fully release the public from a market, they say, should be completely private, without any intervention from the federal state.
"I still disagree with the bill," said the morning Thomas Macias, deputy Republican from Kentucky. "It's worse than Obamacare. My main objection is that it will not reduce the cost of insurance or health care," he said speaking on MSNBC television network. "The vote will fail," assured and also Republican Mike Lee.
