Meeting of police chiefs and western Balkan countries for refugee



A meeting in Belgrade of Heads of States Police involved in solving the refugee with the participation of Greece, announced by Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic.

"On Tuesday, March 1 will be held in Belgrade operational meeting of the Heads of Police of Greece, Germany, the Netherlands and the countries of the Western Balkans on the path from where the refugees' go, said Serbia the Ministry of Interior on the private TV channel "Pink".

Mr. Stefanovic also said that Croatia informed yesterday late in the evening that Serbia today will accept a limited number of refugees will not exceed 500 per day. This decision -anefere the idios- forcing Serbia to follow the same tactics allowing entry only to 500 refugees daily.

The Ministry of Interior of Serbia pointed out that there are ambiguities in the agreement on the operation of the single refugee control center in Gevgelija, and must be determined whether those receiving the relevant entry certificate can undisturbed continue the journey. He noted that currently in Serbia are around 2,000 refugees, of whom only 38 have submitted an application for asylum.

Nebojsa Stefanovic also stressed that in Europe there is no section to deal with the refugee. "Some countries do not want to accommodate any refugee and other lift heavier weights," he said.

Especially for the behavior of Serbia he stressed that "wants to show solidarity in dealing with the refugee, but primarily defends its citizens, ensuring security and stability in the country".

The Nemoisa Stefanovic stated, in an interview with "Pink", and the decision to use the army, noting that if necessary, the army units deployed along the border to prevent the illegal entry of immigrants or refugees.
