Obama will support Britain stays in the EU "as a friend", the upcoming trip to London

The United States President Barack Obama will put himself in an unusual and risky place in London next week - in the center of a tension-filled dialogue about whether Britain should remain in the European Union or not. The White House believes that the country will benefit more in the economic and political spheres remain if the EU, which is expected to report at a press conference and a meeting with young people in town hall.

Usually the White House avoids giving the impression that mixed in other countries elections when planning government officials traveling abroad and foreign leaders in Washington. But with only two months to go before the referendum on June 23 the British for the possible exit from the EU, known as "Brexit", with opinions divided, Obama will stand beside his friend and ally, Prime Minister David Cameron, who supports the eve of the EU.

"We have no closer friend in the world, you are asked as friends for our opinion, we will offer," she told reporters yesterday Ben Rhodes, deputy national security adviser to Obama, referring to Britain. "But I made it clear that this is a matter that should the British decide themselves when they go to vote in June," added Rhodes. The specific time of the visit is a sign of how Obama feels that stake. The IMF warned this week that a possible output of the country could be a blow to the fragile global economy.
