The solution for Greece will be found soon, said B. Schauble
O Minister of Finance of Germany Wolfgang Schaeuble told German television that is "fairly optimistic" that will find a solution to Greece the next few weeks, but added that this solution will not involve any debt relief.
"We will find a solution in the next few weeks, but it has nothing to do with debt relief but mainly with Greece should be doing more to become a competitive economy," said the German minister in an interview with state television network ARD.
Wolfgang Schaeuble argued that given that the maturation period of Greek debt already amounts to 35 years and paid interest deferred for a period of 10 years, those who talk about debt relief simply "do not want to talk about what Greece should do "Athens and the need to meet the conditions set.
"We help Greece- buy time" underlined adding that the creditors always keep their agreements.
