The forces of the National Army of Libya, led by Gen. Khalifa Chaftar, launched an air attack on Hay Armpamigia area in Derna, a theater of hostilities between the IR and other Islamic militants.
Eyewitness city confirmed that there was an air raid in Derna, in an area controlled by the IR, but was unable to say what was the extent of the damage or if there were losses in the jihadist ranks. "An aircraft of ESA, a MiG -23, crashed due to a technical problem, "said military spokesman Ampntoulkarim Sabra, adding that the third-generation fighter took part in the raids in Derna. "The pilot managed to escape and is well," the spokesman said.
Libya has been plunged into chaos due to conflict two factions, each of which has set up its own government and supported by former rebels who had fought together to overthrow Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
