Cameron: Britain will remain committed to European defense
British Prime Minister David Cameron, who announced his resignation after losing a referendum last month on the eve of Britain in the EU, said today that his country will remain committed to European defense since left the Union.
"What I'm saying is that Britain could leave the EU, but not turn our backs on Europe and not turn our backs on European defense and security," he told reporters on arrival for the last NATO summit in which you participated before he resigns.
"Britain is not going to play a smaller role in the world," said British Prime Minister.
