US: No "see" core terrorists in New York. After conception Rachami




The police are not looking for other suspects for the attack which occurred Saturday in New York, after the arrest of a 28 year old American of Afghan origin, said tonight the city's mayor, Bill de Blasio, suggesting that Ahmad Khan Rachami acted alone.

"We are seeking other persons at this stage," said the mayor at a press conference.

The FBI spokesman William Sweeney, who participated in this conference, stated that there is no information on a terrorist "core" of the city. The motive Rachami remains unclear.

The five persons were arrested and interrogated on Sunday night is no longer in custody, adding the FBI.

The Rachami, who was injured during the arrest earlier, was taken to hospital and underwent surgery because it has at least one wound in the leg.

The city's mayor Elizabeth, where Rachami lived, said on his part that the local police did not follow the 28 year old but was involved in the restaurant run by the family because they had been complaints about noise and other problems.

His father Ahmed Mohamed Rachami opened in Khan Fried Chicken restaurant in 2006 and four years later renamed to First American Fried Chicken. The family lived above the restaurant, which is located between a hairdresser and a store advertises that it makes money transfers and repairs computers. Today the area around the building was sealed off and police officers come and go carrying boxes. Others were in the restaurant terrace while a policeman was seen leaning from a window and taking pictures.
