The occupation of Aleppo will lead them "terrorists" back to Turkey, says Assad

The recovery of Aleppo from the control of insurgents will become mM starting point for the Syrian army to push them "terrorists" back to Turkey, he told a Russian newspaper Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

"You need to continue the settlement of this region and to push the terrorists back to Turkey, to return from where they come, or to kill them. There is no other choice," said Assad in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper.

"From a military and strategic point of view, we can not isolate the Front Al Nosra. But it will be a starting point to move to other cities and the release of the terrorists. This is the importance of Aleppo," he said.

Last month, Aleppo has become the battle ground between the Syrian government forces, jihadists, and several opposition groups. A ceasefire agreement between the United States and Russia in September collapsed a week after it was signed, with the Syrian forces renew their attacks, stating that violations of the agreement by fighters make the cessation of hostilities impossible.

Among others, Assad said that the action of Turkey in Syria is invaded, which is contrary to international law, and that the country's civil war has resulted in a battle between Russia and the West.
