Hamburg Airport temporarily closed this afternoon, as some seem deliberately sprayed an irritant gas that caused respiratory problems in about 70 passengers and employees. The airport ceased operations at 12:30 (local time), fully evacuated and reopened at 13.45.
"A bad smell spread in the area where passengers and their cabin baggage" explained a police spokesman controlled. "Some people complained of eye irritation and breathing difficulties," he added. Overall, the first aid in 68 patients and eight of them had to metarferthoun hospitals.
