Emmanuel Makron voted in Touquet

Emmanuel Makron, the candidate of the En Marche movement! (President) voted this morning in Touquet (Pa-de-Calais), where he has a country house, for the second round of presidential elections.

The former Minister of Economy exercised his right to vote at 11:00 in an electoral center in the town hall where he had married in 2007.

For safety reasons, he arrived at the town hall by car from his residence, walking a distance of about 300 meters.

With a white shirt and a blue tie, Manuel Macron, aged 39, was accompanied by his wife Brugge and surrounded by many bodyguards.

It was hosted by a few dozen supporters in front of his home - some were shouting "Long President" - and then outside the town hall, both on entry and exit.

At the entrance to the electoral section, on the first floor of the town hall, Makron welcomed Mayor Daniel Fasque (of the Republicans). Smiling, the two men exchanged a handshake.

The candidate of En marche! Also took a few choices with the electorate.

In the first round on April 23, Makron received approximately 30% of the votes in that city.
