USA: 35 days before the election, about 130,000 voters have already voted
Tens of thousands of American citizens have already voted Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump or any of the other presidential candidates, as in most States allow the vote in advance.
As the remaining 35 days until November 8, even no particular rush of voters observed. According to Professor of the University of Florida Michael Mantonalnt, specializing in the vote in advance, about 130.00 people have voted, a total of 130 million voters.
These votes will be counted along with all the rest, Tuesday, November 8th.
Voters can vote in advance in two ways: either by postal vote, either in person at polling stations open early in 37 States. So far opened three polling in Iowa and Ohio will start voting next week. Voting by mail is permitted in all States, but in 20 of these voters should be able to justify their absence from the area on the day of elections. Three States (Washington, Oregon and Colorado) send ballots to all registered voters.
In the elections of 2012 nearly one third of the votes had been sent before the election day.
The advance voting is not a new idea, but as the years pass more and more developed. In 1996 only 10.5% of voters had chosen to vote before the official election date.
