The German Chancellor Angela Merkel called today by the representative of the "chemical attack" on Syria 'war crime' to be punished and asked Russia and Iran to put pressure on Damascus.
"The use of toxic gas is a war crime and war crimes should be treated as such," said deputy spokesman for Merkel, Ulrike Ntemer, during a press conference in Berlin.
Avoiding directly held liable for the attack on the President Basar Al Asant regime, he recalled that "the responsibility of the Assad regime to use chemical weapons has proven in the past."
