Russian citizens, 81 per cent, approve the work of President Vladimir Putin, while 18 per cent have the opposite view, according to a poll conducted by Levada-Centr. However, Russians' moods about the work of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev are different as 53% consider it negative and 46% positive.
47% view the government's work positively (in March this figure was 43%), while 52% of Russians are dissatisfied with the work of the Russian government (in March the figure was 55%).
At even lower rates, there are estimates for the work of the State Duma (Russian lower house), since only 41% consider its work to be positive (in March this figure was 38%), while 58% consider it negative.
According to the same survey, within a month, the percentage of Russian citizens who believe that the country is heading in the right direction, has risen to 56% from 51%. 28% of the Russians have the opposite view, while 16% have difficulty answering the question.
