On foot the Turkish authorities for jihadists
The third of the suspects have been brought as alleged members of the Islamic State in Turkey since 2013 are foreigners.
According to Hurriyet, cited by officials of the Police not named, a total 2,545 suspects have been found in the hands of the authorities in the context of counter-terrorism operations against the jihadists. Of these, 810 are of other nationalities.
The Turkish security forces prosigagan 230 suspects in 2013, of whom 78 were arrested and are in prison. In 2014, the number of suspected links to Islamic State grew and reached the 615. Among them 247 were foreigners. Of the 87 imprisoned, the 21 were of other nationalities. Finally, in 2015 found in the hands of the principles 1,700 and 492 are from other countries. A total of 95 foreigners entered the prison.
The officials who gave evidence gave no information on the nationalities of the suspects. During the counter-terrorism operations, police seized large amount of weapons and ammunition.
It also became known that despite the fact that the bloodthirsty jihadists have claimed responsibility for several attacks inside Turkey, but the authorities consider that some of them were fighters from the Islamic State.
