Turkey: New ministry for refugee
New ministry to deal with migration issues will be set up in Turkey, according to a report in the Turkish pro-government newspaper Sabah.
The newspaper says that the preparations made by the Turkish Ministry of Development, given the fact that the refugees who have arrived in Turkey from Syria have exceeded two million.
The neo ministry, according to the publication, will design its policy and strategy on the issue of refugees and coordinate matters concerning the arrival and accommodation of refugees, as the Athens Press Agency reported.
The newspaper also reports that the new ministry will qualify the migration address set up in 2013 in the Ministry of Interior and the Office of Disaster and Emergency falling in the office of prime minister.
