The opposition in Turkey denounces the referendum, denying the outcome

The two largest opposition parties in Turkey have today denounced "fraud" in the crucial referendum on constitutional reform and strengthening of the powers of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, while the results so far give little precedence to "yes".

Bulent Tezjan, deputy secretary general of the People's Republican Party, CHP, complained to the CNN-TV television network of an "offense" following the decision of the YSK to validate ballots that did not bear the official stamp.

At the same time, the pro-Kurdish Democratic People's Party (HDP) HDP Party has told Twitter that it will ask for a re-counting of votes from two-thirds of the people.
