Germany: Arrest of three people Syrian origin for relations with the Islamic State
The German police arrested in Schleswig-Holstein three Syrians suspected to have been sent to Germany by senior Islamic State organization, announced by prosecutors.
The suspects are aged between 17-26 years and sent to Germany in November 2015, "either to fulfill the mission for which they have been informed or to await further instructions." It is unclear the time of any attack.
"So far, during the investigations, there have been specific missions or mandates" the statement said prosecutors.
Around one million refugees arrived last year in Germany and concerns about their presence in the country were strengthened after the recent violent attacks, three of which were committed by refugees. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for two attacks.
