The US entry ban may be extended, warns government


Some of the seven Muslim countries mentioned in the president Donald Trump decree on immigration probably will not come out of this list of prohibitions soon, stated today the Internal Security Minister John Kelly.

In a press interview Kelly, however, said that the citizens of seven countries have dual citizenship will be allowed to enter the US if they use the country's passport is not affected by the measure.

The new minister was asked about the decree signed by President Trump last Friday, which denied entry to the US to all who come from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen 90 days and refugee admission for 120 days.

The decree caused confusion at airports throughout the world as well as customs officials and airlines trying to interpret the new regulations. Many brought court proceedings against the decree has vehemently criticized by Democrats from organizations for human rights as well as Western countries, US allies.

Since the entry into force of the decree denied entry to the US on 721 travelers from the seven countries mentioned above, as mentioned by Kevin MakAlinan, the acting Acting Head of Customs and Border Protection Service.

Kelly on his part noted that federal officials immigration services and offices comply with court decisions on immigration and no to deliberately violate or knowingly.

The UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres today criticized the anti-immigrant ordinance of the new president of the United States of America which targets collectively citizens seven Muslim countries, stressing that measures taken "blindly" there is a risk that ineffective.

All countries "have the right or duty to control their borders to avoid entering (in their territory) members of terrorist organizations," he explained in a statement given to the UN Secretary General publicity, but stressed that measures adopted to this "can not be based on any form of discrimination based on religion, ethnic origin or nationality."
