Ted Maloku, professor and writer who was chosen by US president Donald Trump for the post of US ambassador to the European Union, provides for the "disintegration" of the Union by stating that the British withdrawal is but only the first step.
"If you look at Europe, you already almost put two letters in front of the word exit," he said in an interview in the German magazine Der Spiegel, according to an excerpt published yesterday. The full interview will be published tomorrow.
The American diplomat also reiterated in this interview that in his view the euro is "a wrong experiment" and that if he worked at investment bank "would bet against him."
Note that the head of the People's Party, the Socialists and the Liberals in the European Parliament called Thursday from Brussels not to accept the appointment of Mild as the new US ambassador to the EU.
