Intensity between Turkey and Kurdish YPG in northern Syria

The development of Turkish troops near areas in northwest Syria, controlled by the forces of the Kurdish militia (YPG), is equivalent to a "war declaration" that could trigger clashes in the coming days, said Reuters, Sipan Hemo, governor of the Kurdish Militia.

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kourtoulmi has denied this claim, stressing that Turkey's military preparation is a legitimate measure against the threat posed by the Kurdish militia forces in the African region. He also said that the Turkish forces would respond to any hostile move.

"This is not a declaration of war. We are preparing for potential threats, "Kurtulmases said in an interview he gave to the Reuters. "Is. . . A legitimate measure in order to be able to protect our independence, "he added.

"Their primary objective (YPG) is a threat to Turkey, and if Ankara sees a move by the YPG in northern Syria that raises a threat to Turkey, it will reciprocate in the same way," the vice-president of the Turkish government said.
