Emergency plane landing in Bulgaria due to bomb threat
Plane with 161 passengers who were making flight from Warsaw with destination Chourganta Egyptian resort made an emergency landing in Burgas, Bulgaria, on the Black Sea after a bomb threat, announced Bulgarian officials. All passengers and crew left the plane in which they found explosives, said airport spokesman of Burgas, adding that the airport remains closed.
"The aircraft landed at Burgas in 05.48 '(local time and GMT) at the request of the pilots LLP8015 flight from Warsaw to Chourganta make emergency landing after information about the presence of explosives on the plane." Passenger alerted the crew on possible bomb admitted to the questions that had been consuming alcohol, police spokesman said.
Representative of the Polish national airline LOT said the plane belonged to the fleet but performed charter flights.
