The German Greens sent to court for the Schäuble plan Grexit
An appeal to the Supreme Constitutional Court of Germany against the coalition in response to the plan for "temporary Grexit» presented by Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble in July tabled by the parliamentary group of the Greens, claiming that Mr. Schaeuble has struck the right information and partnership between the Federal Parliament, which had not informed promptly about his intentions.
As the spokesperson of the Greens on European policy Manuel Saratsin, Members learned about the plans of the German Minister of Finance on the type, while the government refused for days to give clear answers to their questions.
"The deputies did not have the opportunity to be placed in this debate - and indeed in a crisis situation, which jeopardized the future of Europe" says Green MP.
Mr. Saratsin and the party spokesperson on financial Sven-Christian Kintler who have filed the appeal, blame Mr. Schaeuble for "ignorant and arrogant behavior" towards Parliament, not so much the content of the proposal, but mainly for having failed to inform, as provided in the Constitution, in time the House on an issue that concerns the European Union.
