A new referendum on the independence of Scotland would be divisive and cause huge economic uncertainty in the worst possible moment for Britain today said spokesman Prime Teresa Mei.
"Just a little more than two years the people in Scotland decisively voted to remain part of the United Kingdom in a referendum which the Scottish Government had identified as the vote is made" once in a generation, ' "he said in a statement representative.
"The data clearly show that the majority of people in Scotland do not want a second referendum on independence. Another referendum was divisive and would cause great economic uncertainty the worst possible time, "he said.
