Two flights of Air France changed course after anonymous threats
Two flights of the French airline Air France from the US to Paris changed last course evening after anonymous threats made by telephone for a bomb in the two planes, announced today by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) of the US, noting that passengers and crew of both aircraft are safe.
An Airbus A-380 which had departed from Los Angeles in California landed in Salt Lake City, Utah, in the western US, where the passengers and crew disembarked and were taken to the terminal, said spokesman FAA.
Other flight had departed from the International Airport Washington-Dulles metropolitan area of Washington changed course and landed at Halifax International Airport in Nova Scotia in Canada, which also landed safely, the passengers and crew of the plane.
In a brief communication, Air France stated that both flights "were the subject of anonymous threats which are made after take-off."
