The Syrian passport which was found near the corpse of one of the bombers-kamikaze, committed the attacks in Paris may be counterfeit, media reported citing a source in the US intelligence services.

French media had broadcast yesterday that a Syrian passport was found near the corpse of one of the extremists who blew themselves up outside the Stade de France. But a US official told the television network CBS News that the passport can be forged. The number does not correspond to any passport issued by the Syrian authorities and the picture does not match the name of the owner, he explained.
