One injured and four arrested in a counterterrorism operation in London

Britain's police shot one woman and arrested four more people in London and the neighboring center during an anti-terrorist investigation yesterday.

The four people were arrested as suspects in order to order, prepare and execute terrorist acts, the Metropolitan police said in a written statement, adding that arrests are unrelated to the arrest in Wittchol, the country's government center. Yesterday, a man with knives was arrested as a suspected terrorist preparation near Britain's Prime Minister Teresa Mei's office.

The woman who was shot is in a serious but steady state, the police said. He has not been arrested yet and is in police custody at the hospital, according to the statement.

The police did not reveal the names of five, who, as he said, were under surveillance by anti-terrorist police as part of an ongoing intelligence operation.
