Drum Trab avoided committing to the two-state solution at his meeting with Mahmoud Abbas

American Donald Trab said he will do what is possible; In order to reach a peace agreement between Israelis and Palestinians by welcoming the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to the White House.

However, Trab did not disclose any specific US move or initiative that could lead to a resumption of negotiations between the two sides.

At their first meeting, Tramp put pressure on the Palestinian president to do more to stop the "challenge of violence" Against the Israelis. According to the White House, Tramp urged Abbas personally to stop payments to Palestinian families held in Israeli jails. This is a long-term demand for Tel Aviv to put pressure on itself.

Despite the fact that the US president has argued that it will succeed in the prevailing peace conditions between Israelis and Palestinians, which the previous US Presidents failed to establish, he did not formally commit his government to promoting the solution of the Two states. This principle for solving the Palestinian Problem on the basis of the coexistence of two states has been the cornerstone of US foreign policy in recent years.

For their part, several Palestinians are disappointed with this omission, with Trab saying to Abbas: "I will do everything I need ... as an ombudsman, as a facilitator or facilitator of the negotiations in order to have a result."
