At least 12 dead boat sinking in the Black Sea
At least 12 people lost their lives in the sinking of a small boat in the Black Sea near Odessa, southern Ukraine, announced the local authorities.
"Cause of the tragedy, the violent storm and lack of lifejackets. Twelve people were recovered dead. One person missing," said Volodymyr Zmak, anti-government Odessa, stating that, overall, 36 people aboard the boat.
The Infrastructure Ministry stated that the accident occurred near the town of Belgorod-Ntnistrofski, 40 km south-west of Odessa.
