Belarus: For fifth term Lukashenko after the elections
Alexander Lukashenko came out for the fifth consecutive time president of Belarus, the central election commission to announce victory with 83,5%, and portion of the opposition to respond to boycott because of doubts about the integrity of the process.

According to official figures, however, participation exceeded 80%.
In the elections participated other three candidates, of whom two are considered loyal to Lukashenko.
The third candidate, Tatyana Korotkevits, representing the opposition, which is nevertheless considered split.

The previous elections in 2010, regarded as the peak of authoritarian governance, and after the electoral victory, the Belarusian leader instructed the police to quell anti-government protests in central Minsk.
