Syria: Barrage Russian bombings in jihadists
The Russian Air Force bombed 86 "terrorist targets" in the territory of Syria in the last 24 hours, moving to a new escalation of its operations to a level not seen since 30 September, the day that started the Russian intervention, today announced the Russian Ministry of Defense.
In the early days of Russian military intervention, Moscow spoke for about 20 air strikes a day, but rose last weekend at about 50.
Bombers Sukhoi Su-34 and air support aircrafts Su-24M and Su-25SM made 88 exits to hit targets in Pakala provinces, Hama, Idlib, Latakia and Aleppo, explained the spokesman of the Russian Ministry of Defence Igor Konatsenkof.
Russian strikes were thus destroyed including command centers, ammunition and weapons depots, military vehicles, explosives production workshops and training camps of IK according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
A Su-24M aircraft destroyed a headquarters IK in upstream, 16 kilometers northwest of Aleppo, while in Latamna in the province of Hama, the Russian PA struck bastion where they stored ammunition, he added.
Another command center where there was also a storehouse also destroyed in Al Bab, Aleppo province, which also hit a convoy carrying fuel and ammunition.
"Thanks to our wounds, terrorists organization IK lost a large part of their ammunition, their heavy weapons and their military equipment," said quarterback Konatsenkof.
