Ph. Hollande: The social conflict in Air France «not continue the situation in France
The social conflict in Air France "does not summarize the situation in France," said today the French President Francois Hollande, noting that the cuts discussed in the French airline could be "avoided" through dialogue between management and employees.
"A number of observers always wants to be a cauldron boil and explode. No! The conflict on Air France does not summarize the situation in France," said the French radio station RTL.
A few hours before the start of a "social summit" between unions, employers and the French government, Francois Hollande, defending under pressure questions about a deterioration of the social climate in France, he added that we should not do the topic of Air France "a general assumption."
"We live in a peaceful society. There are always conflicts (...) How to overcome? With the violence? Certainly not. In the peace and therefore the dialogue," he said.
