Tens of thousands of people participated in concentrations of pro and anti PEGIDA in Dresden
Several thousand supporters and opponents of the populist right PEGIDA movement gathered in Dresden, on the anniversary of its creation, amid a climate of intense dissatisfaction with the massive influx of refugees in Germany.
According to local media and information provided by a university city, about 20,000 people gathered in a square in the center of Dresden, in response to the call of the 'Europeans Patriots Against Islamization of the West "(or PEGIDA, the acronym in German) that there had been created on 20 October 2014.
