Orban: Europe "betrayed" by a "conspiracy"




Europe "betrayed" by a conspiracy perpetrated by powerful financiers, the Left and non-elected officials, argued Friday the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, advocate a hard line on the issue of the refugee crisis.

"Europe betrayed if we do not defend (interests), the continent will not be a thing of the citizens living in it," said Orban during a conference in Budapest.

The Hungarian Prime Minister railed against the American investor of Hungarian origin George Soros, arguing that the plans "that have defined very organized financiers, those who think beyond national states and officials who never elected" could become a reality.

Viktor Orban further accused the European left that work towards the weakening of the national states to the benefit of the international dimension and cosmopolitanism.

"It's hard to imagine" that powerful European countries have a huge network of "intelligence which sufficiently functions" were not prepared to cope with the daily influx of thousands of refugees in Europe, he said.

"People suspect that this was not a coincidence," he added.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Hungary said in an interview with state radio network that Soros offers great support to activists "who want to support anything that weakens the nation states."

"Who in Europe voted to allow these people arriving irregularly by the thousands and nurtured upon" in European Union countries, wondered characteristics.
